Is 35 too late to start learning software development?

I'm almost 35, I am studying, teaching myself the things needed to be a linux SysAdmin in order for me to get certified as LPIC-1 but I also want to learn to create software for the GNU/Linux based distributions, you know things like administration panels, network and system monitoring tools, user and device tools, web interfaces for servers and so on. But as the clock never stops ticking and every second that goes by I get older I feel like it's getting late for me to start developing software or anything and I should just focus on finishing my studies and get the LPIC-1 certification. What do you guys think?

All those answers are relevant because they all have the same answer. It doesnt matter when you start. So just start already, jeez! If you want to do something, do it, if you just want to talk about doing it and get "support" the q&a section really isnt the best spot.

Nah, it's only too late if you think it is.

Thanks for your fast response but it looks like you just read the header and didn't take your time to read the description of what I'm asking for because it is two questions in one, so although I didn't use the search bar none of the questions you linked describe the same matters.
