Raspberry Pi with Pi-hole/PiVPN

Question

Hello guys!
Anyone that has already tried the Pi-hole installed on the pi via ethernet cable directly to the router and it has worked??
I followed all the steps with a tutorial on youtube and got it all setup with a static IP for the Pi but I dont believe its blocking anything....
When I try to ping my device and update the Adlist/blacklist on Pi-hole admin panel it says “DNS resolution unavailable”
I already tried switching from Cloudflare to Google DNS and nothing....
