That term means what its name suggest: man(splaining) [man explaining], basically a man who is explaining some kind of topic.

Its when a man explains something to a women in a condescending way. Like if a man wouldnt believe you code, and starts explaining hello world to you like you're a kid.

To avoid mansplaining : Avoid explaining things all together. If you must explain. Keep explanations short and to the point. Don't give advice unless its requested and avoid toxic people.

Although it's off topic, but this term imo is mostly used by feminists when they fail to answer a person who happens to be a man.
