Most widely used is Eclipse and Idea. Eclipse is open-source free ide. Intellij Idea is considered the best ide by many, but it's full version is not free. Full version of Idea supports many other languages, like Java Scriptript, TypeScript, Ruby or SQL. Vim, Emac and vi are just text editors, no one uses them to write code.
