Href stands for hyperlink Reference.src stands for source src is used to provide Source of a file. href is used to provide link of a site. hope that helps
What i understand is For making a link ro some wabesite. . . . Use href For making a link to an image. . . . Use src

href is an attribute that can accept only link address as value but src can accept sources
