A systematic interviewer for any job will check a number of categories, their relative importance depending on the actual needs of the job: technical knowledge and experience is a substantial part but by no means the only one. Also checked: -time management and priority setting (can you balance day to day urgent needs /multitask) -goal setting: not losing the big picture. -drive for closure (do your projects get finished beyond the enthusiastic start?) -team working (your work enhances that of others, you can take orders from people in charge, you can mentor and teach those assisting you) -problem solving (rather than just complaining/reporting or not even noticing) -independent thinking (own ideas and being proactive) -communicating results (even if you do great things, no use if no one else knows: document your code!) -leadership as in shouldering responsibility and driving the projects the more essential one aspect, the less demand on the others but absolutely failing any point is often fatal

Usually, 1) Unattractive portfolio(reason: lacking good projects) and even degrees(esp. in our country India) 2) Competitions(one post, ten applicants) 3) Lacking basic necessary skills 4) Shocking but true even communication skills, languages 5) Luck, lol 😁 6) ... 7) ... 8) ... .. .. ebrahem hesham have you experience any rejections? I've left points (6) - (8) empty intentionally because there are many other factors, why one gets rejected and if by chance you gets rejected you can add your reasons to the list(but always hope for the best 😉😁)
