Vocabulary and Memorization of Java

Question

How important is it for me to remember all of the vocabulary used in Java?
If I was to get an entry level position while working as a Java programmer, am I supposed to remember all of these constructs and syntax or just how they work?

Basically you have to know what to search for, if you want to solve a problem. Try to code as much as you can, every problem you solved on your own will help you to remember the solution next time.

i don't think programming is about remembering this syntax or that syntax, especially at this day and age where the internet is at your fingertips at all times.
it is about logical thinking and understanding of basic concepts upon you build more complex things.

@Burey I'm really sorry to disagree, Sir, but one will never be a good and quick programmer if you need to google every little syntactical aspect again and again. What's true is that you can get pretty good hints on the internet to solve particular problems, or algorithmic challenges. Surely you can plug components together which you collect on the internet, but a stable and secure program with a well-sophisticated architecture, no chance.

Well, how to say this. Let's take a metaphor: Imagine you are on a date with a wonderful person. This date is your first step into something hopefully bigger. However, you recently saw some YouTube videos which explained to you how it works to go on a date. You feel pretty prepared: be nice and gentle, keep talking but not too much, keep listening but not too heavily affirmative. You name it. But now you are on that date, and you quickly realize you don't really feel comfortable in this situation. You do not really know what to do when and then you encounter that even when you follow the protocol you learnt in the vids, the person in front of you realizes that you are not really establishing a connection. You do not feel the relation. Something like breaking the rules in order to achieve something unforseen but pretty awesome, does not even come to your mind.
Now have a guess, will this person in front of you reach the next level quickly. First steps first. Otherwise you will fail!
