What is difference between Star and client server topology ?

This is from Google "In a star topology all nodes indirectly connect to each other through one or more switches . ... Large networks using a star topology are usually controlled by one or more servers . Hence, the client-server model usually uses a star topology. This is more for programming questions. But star topology has all devices connected to a central hub or switch. Client and server topology is basically a server with resources giving data to clients that request it over a wan (sometimes lan).
