Oby Anaba are you 12 or above 12? You might be blocked permanently from sololearn if you aren't atleast 13 becuz of COPPA. If you are a beginner, first learn some programming language like c++ and c# and then gradually proceed to game development. Sololearn might be of great help for you(though I donno if you will be blocked or will remain here with us) and you can also refer to other resources available online. You will also need a basic knowledge of maths(here basic is that of class 8-10 maybe) and if you are one of those students who remain ahead to learn these things, then best of luck for your coding journey😉

yes, if you are really interested in it then you will find it a fraction more easier and less complicated. Just know that its not age that matters in coding but Interest.

You should check out codecombat.com. it is free but you can get extra lessons on games for $10. Very good place to start. Check out the mimo app it has a few games classes. Good job starting learning so young, do not listen to anyone saying you are too young to learn or to be here. See if you like python which is an easy language to start with and has a plugin called pygame which is easy to learn for making games. If you get confident enough then try downloading unity it is free and has sooo many youtube tutorials and many professional games are made on it. In the next few months unreal game engine will be absolutely free and will be where you want to focus attention but that will be later on for you. Keep up the good work!

Hehe, im also an 8th, if you want to learn to code, do it right, start from the basic concepts of prigramming, then pick a language that is good enough for you and also suits your purposes, and then build it up from there, use the internet to your advantage, its never too early.

Start with Scratch link: https://scratch.mit.edu/ This will help you get the basics clear The try LOGO. Link: https://www.transum.org/software/Logo/ It'll make you familiar with typing in programming and various components of a syntax. Syntax is nothing but a pattern to write different parts of a programming language. Then learn python. Your final goal before development should be, getting better at OOP. It is hard topic in programming and takes quite a lot of patience. So keep at it and slowly you'll be ready to develop games.

I don't know what path you should take to learn to code games, I recommend you look it up in youtube and start with simple games, small projects, you shouldn't rush. Also, take notes of what you learn so your future self can see these whenever she forgets.
