Why web based program are more liked unlike app based program which is more superior and reliable?

It is seen in sololearn platform that web based platform(html,css,js) is given higher rating over(java,c,c++,swift etc)

For Sololearn, you know that you can't add images or beautify your code in other languages. But the web codes you can make your page or document attractive and lovely. The colour decoration CSS all makes it look so attractive 😍.
I know that java and python programs are more superior than web codes but nowadays people never look at codes , they only want a better and beautiful outcome :(.

All have different opinions about this. In sololearn, web is the only where we can use colours, designs, decorations and many more. But others languages do not have popularity in sololearn as a very few things can be done using them. But a very few is also very much.
But you should not see ratings, you should see what you have to learn

I don't like the notion that app development(console apps for that matter) is superior to website development. If you don't like web development, that's fine but don't generalize things like that.
