is learning > 1 programming confusing

i want to ask that is learning more than 1 programming language confusing? According to me , programming languages are are just like common languages. we have never confusion or mind mix while speaking English, French, Hindi, etc if we know that all. So in my opinion learning more than 1 programming language can not be confusing. please share your view.
