Sorry but i didn't understand what you want to ask! can you elaborate more ?as class or id can have some psuedo class properties like Hover ,after ,before ,visited,active that can provides special effects

I think he wants to know which has priority, when both is defined. So a.hover has priority before a itself and user defined ID then I'd somewhere between them...?
