Why cant i use System.Net.Mail and smtp?

Trying to send an email via smtp and its throwing an outdated/obsolete error. This method of sending emails works fine on my laptop using Visual Studios (latest edition). Whats going wrong? I know there are other ways but Id like to use System.Net.Mail

On what environment is it not working? I think sololearn doesn't support that thing

smtp is not supported by any language in sololearn I think (not sure), perhaps due to security reasons

Thanks for the reply. It's not working in this environment (solo learn). Perhaps SoloLearn isnt using the most current version of .Net or something? Any other suggestions for smtp on SoloLearn?
