Why dont we get xp for helping others?

I have gone through almost all of the courses. and the challenges are not as fun as I would like them to be. so I began to answer peoples questions. I realized that I know alot more than some other users so I figured that I would help them with their problems. why doesnt this help me advance in level?? I believe that if I respond to a question and get 2+ up votes on it I should get a couple xp. also how do the charts work with "coder", "learner" etc. I think that some of mine should be higher than zero.

Hang on! Your work will be credited by community, I'm sure. If you continue to help sooo diligently, you will be noticed. And helping is better than 'badging' ^^

Yeah, contribute to community isn't paying... I suppose logical of Sololearn dev' is to favor gaming side to maximize number of users, and that people who dislikes challenges aren't numerous ^^ Well, it's good to know we are not absolutly alone :P ... but don't focus on XP's and others baits ;)
