Hi I am new to Python. I dont understand what is the >>> . When I enter in >>> (4+8) / 2 into Python, it does not like the >>>. It gives a syntax error. What am I doing wrong?

If you are writing in script mode then it is not required. And if you are writing in interactive mode then it will simply indicate the new line


When you click "try yourself" don't enter ">>>" Just type print(4+8) / 2
