Is it worth learn Ruby in 2020

Question

I want to do something productive during this Quarantine so I thought of learning a new language. I know c++ already but never liked it so decided to learn something else. Also I really found of ruby because of its simplicity, but recently I some YouTuber wese making videos of "Language not to learn in 2020" and there they listed ruby also. So I was quite disappointed and want because of that so thought of questioning here. Please give me a honest reply wherter or not I should learn Ruby. Also one point to be noted that I'm not learning any language for job prospect, I just want to learn and build cool web apps for joy😅

Ruby is a great language to learn, the simplicity of it's syntax(I use to think python was the simplest). It has wide range applications.
The latest metasploit framework was coded entirely in Ruby.
