I have an application created in node js, I am using web socket on port 9000. I use the command "node main.js" to activate the web socket, but I don't know how to activate it on the web server.

New AnswerDo you mean, an external server ? If YES, then I can't help because it depends on the host and how they prefer to host node.js application...there's always a documentations in this case But if you're taking bout the local host, just read the console...it will direct you to the URL where your node.js app is
