Anyone learning from a Humanities background?

I want to change careers. I studied Humanities at college and I have been working in customer service for 5 years. It's obviously not well paid. I like statistics and I'm generally very curious and so I started to learn Data Science. Are there anyone with a similar background or a success story that can keep me motivated?
