Is it right to learn several programming languages ​​instead of being an expert in one language

You will be confused ,if you try to learn several..languages..as a result you will not be master in any languages.
Also you wont have time to think logically about...any coding questions.you will make your mind tired by making learn syntaxes of every lamguage😢

Learning one language very thoroughly at first and using it to understand computer science fundamentals is best. Once you’ve done that and solved practical problems using that first language, you can more easily learn other languages depending on what you are trying to do. At Carnegie-Mellon in the 80’s they used Pascal as the teaching language to understand computer science. In my computer architecture classes we used assembly to be closer to the processor. My first job took me to C because I was doing network kernel work and that’s what the OS was written in. Later I needed C++ because we were building a GUI and that was the preferred tool at the time. Later I had to learn Java for cloud computing, python and perl for dataflow management and ETL. Then I needed SQL for a database in the backend and javascript, nodejs and REST for the front end.
Everything new I learn, I turn back to basic concepts I got with my first language.
Learn one language really well, then others for specific tasks.

It all depends on what you want but I feel it's impossible to program in one language for long if you are a programmer, so be good in one but sooner or later you'll have to learn another one

i believe foucsing on a certain language is the best option but it depends on you after all some people can learn more than one and be master at couple of them or all of them but as im speaking for myself i like to concentrate on one language until i becom a master at it and then move on to another one if i have to

Actually it depends on our interest whether we want to study one language or we have an interest in particularly several languages. So, yeah not necessary that you have to pursue just one language but yeah I even think that doing different languages one by one and being a specialist in them is quite important and a beautiful art. First of all there is a buch of programming languages so it is hard but ofcourse not impossible to know them all
However if you master one or two languages very good in addition to be able to write different programs using those two languages it is amazing
It is not about the quantity but it is about the quality.

But if you are just coding for fun, you can go on with learning as many programming language as you want..

Think of programming as if you're eating your meal, and you need a knife fork and more depending on what type of meal you're eating, (example: you don't eat spaghettis with a spoon)
Such as trying to use c++ tools for web development instead of Javascript and its libraries made for it.

Instead of learning multiple languages simultaneously. You should focus on one language and do your best and expertise on that language. These all the programming language syntax are different but, all are same. Now, a days python is very demanding language easy to learn and fast. So, I think you should go with python. But, if you find some other language best then you should start that language. It's your choice which languages you should expertise with.
