Where do I get some basic commands for windows command prompt or PowerShell ?

Question

Recently I have to use CMD to make directory for some reason but I never use any command line tools before. I have downloaded PowerShell NotesForProfessional and I am overwhelmed, there so much to learn which I don't want. Sorry for bad English.
