MacBook or Notebook for programming?

Hi guys! I'm new at programming and I am now studying JavaScript, CSS and HTML. Possibly later on I start studying React Native, but I don't see me programming for MacOS or IPhone (natively). So, here is the question : I need a notebook, good enough for at least 5 years. Should I buy an MacBook Air or an notebook (I saw this ASUS with almost the same price as the MacBook air) CPU : Core i7-8750H Memory : 16GB Graphics : NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (NVIDIA Optimus Technology) Storage: SSD128GB+HDD1TB Monitor Size : 15.6 wide 1920 x 1080 Also, I see that the MacBook's monitor size is only 13 inches, which I believe is too small (I'm not planning on buying an 2nd monitor and I won't be taking the PC outside, so the weight and screen size won't be a matter)

Cleber Ogata, it depends on how are you going to use it. If you want one just for programming: then you can just pick up any laptop you like and it will hardly make any difference (just like WhyFry said) If you are a casual gammer/hardcore gammer, then just go for a windows machine with good graphics card If you are looking for portability with large enough battery life then any ultrabook/MacBook will work perfectly for you(preffer the one with higher resolution and less screen size(preferably 13 inch) as it will make your laptop more compact and light

thanks for the answers! I'm not a gamer, but I've heard that Android Studio works faster with a graphic card, that's why I'm thinking about that PC. 13 inch isn't too small?
