Learn what you need. You can learn both, too. You can try the first lessons from both. Then choose what you understand and like more. P.S. Python is recommended nowadays, you can check the FAQ.

Check this: https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/1728197/?ref=app Python is not tough(infact no language is)šŸ˜„you just need to practice and get yourself well learned with basics. Learning two languages along might look tricky and will trouble you with syntax problem coz java and python got some shear difference in syntax. According to me if you are okay with doing both together then you should learn both or one by one(which is recommended by me). Which language to choose depends upon your interest of work like in which field you are looking forward to proceed. Start with basics and Keep practicing šŸ˜„ Follow this page to get help and information regarding python: All About Python

Don't let people terrify you. It will not destroy you to learn the wrong language. 1.) There isn't such thing (at least not when it's that common). 2.) You can learn another language later, that is really no problem. 3.) You will *likely* learn both of them - and more - anyway, at least the fundamentals. Totally opinionated I want to add: I like Python. šŸ˜‰

There is no reason for not learning a particular programming language if you have the time for it. In fact, there is no good reason to not learn about and understand something. Knowledge always results in increased capacity for effective action.
