Can I change my blog topic in Wordpress? How does the blog topic affects website?

Question

I decided to explore Wordpress. When I was creating my ID, I had to choose from topics given and at that time, since my objective was just to explore Wordpress I chose any random topic.
But now I want to create my own blog on a different topic which was not even included in the list given.
What should I do? Do I need to create another ID or is there any option to change blog topic?
P.S. I am new to wordpress and I didn't launched any site.
