Why you are thinking on year. Some languages will never end. So don't think about it.

I understand your concerns but new languages will never stop popping up. There are over 250+ languages today. I doubt you and I can name even half of them but they still exist, don’t they? Languages relevant to programmers today are the ones you see around, c#, java, python, etc. These might be considered the “big guys” today but C++ is and will always be relevant. Why? Because it’s a low level language with high level language features. It’s almost like the holy grail of programming languages. This sounds like I’m trying to sell you C++ out so let me tell you what, don’t bother learning C++ if you have doubts, pick some other “trendy” language.

Don't underestimate the c++ and even c language they both are used even today.... C++ is heavily used for competitive programming and c for hardware programming

Start to learn it right now, that the best thing you can do. Don't merely stay and ask yourself, should I do this now or later? Just do it now.
