Most clients looking for freelancers don't care what technology you use. They're just looking to get things done and problems solved. If you can make something that people are willing to pay for then you're good to go.

Believe me no client is going to approach you with a question in C++ or Python. They look for developers so either learn web design using html, CSS, JS or learn web applications using java, servelets, jsp and spring framework.
