Do you know that you can put the break up symbol like this </br> or <br/> it does the same work with the original one

For proper syntactic use, the second one "<br/>" is the correct method.
This closing slash is also used in other elements that do not have their own closing tags, examples:
<hr/>
<img src="image.jpg" />
