C++ vs Python

I was told that between now and the next 10-15 years that data is going to make you more money than making games. For data, should I use Python or C++, and for gaming, should I use C++ or Python?

C++/C# for console games. Python for Data science. My wish for making money is to win the lottery, but it never happens goddammit! I guess I need to listen to the people who have been talking to you about data instead.
