Which database is better for java and which topics good for begining?

I wanna learn database for java. I asked Other people and they say you can choose oracle database. But i don't know that which course start and which topic study. Please help me.

I would guess they suggested that because both Java and Oracle database is now under one flag.
But I wouldn't agree for the "better" or "best" title, though it is factual that Oracle is one of some top ranked DBMS, widely used, plus good community.
Which topic is good for beginning? I think there are factors to consider. Are you using this databases, or you manage them. SQL course is one both needs, though for the latter, you may need to learn more, as you'll be bearing more responsibility.
If you'll be using it for a Java program then basic SQL queries skills will be alright. Your needs of new skills will grow as you develop the program anyways.
Database normalization might make a good point to learn if you will also be authoring the database structures I suppose.
Summary:
Go for the SQL course.
