What should I aim for in terms of specs

Question

I'm looking to make games in unity with some frends, problem is my PC is garbage and I'm going to get a new one. What should I look for in terms of ram, GPU, CPU and all that jazz. Edit: I realized I was waaaaay to nonspecific. I realized I didnt give enough detail, I have a budget of ~700, looking for a desktop, and am going to make a 3d si-fi fps with (most likely) realistic graphics. Sorry for the lack of detail.

What kind of budget are you working with? Are you looking for a desktop or laptop? Are you buying new or used?
Will you be working on 3D or 2D games? What sort of graphics are you needing do push?
