Definitely make sure you are coding all the examples you come across on your computer and mess around with them. dont just copy it word for word then move on because you wont get a full idea of how it works. make sure to take notes and watch some youtube tutorials alongside sololearn. its really hard learning a programming language on your own but a little bit of practice and research every day will help with that

Read the official docs of Java to gain knowledge and practice lots and lots of examples. Code a lot. Participate in online quizzes and competitions held on websites like CodeChef, HackerRank and so on.
