Should i use python or python IDLE for programming?

I tried both and both works. I want to know which can be used for developing apps. Is it only python or IDLE for running the programme.

Python is Python self, you need to install Python on your device to be able to run Python programs.
Python IDLE is just a development environment which includes text editor and console.
They are 2 different things.
CPython is Python, that gets intepreted into C.
