Python challenges are frustrating

Python code is supposed to be readable. Why are so many of the challenge questions designed to be confusing? Or is it just me ☹️

If you have knowledge then no need to be confused.

although AJ/AY is sort of correct, it is frustrating. a lot of challenges work because there is a confusing element in them. this of course is against the zen of python.

well it does test your skill a bit. you could say that if you spot it easily than your skill is up to scratch, but on the other hand, that is not really what coding is. Code isn’t or at least shouldn’t be meant to be confusing.

Yeah. You’re right AJ/AY . Maybe I just need more knowledge. I’ve been frustrated recently because I’ve been losing a lot of challenges. The reason I started learning Python was because of it’s readability. I agree with you Brave Tea that a lot of challenge questions have confusing elements in them. What do you think: does a question designed to confuse or trick you test your knowledge of a language? or just your memory from the last time you had the same challenge question?

Best way to make biceps training with 20kg each hand? One repetition with 30kg each hand, in a way that your brain thinks 20kg is much more light so it is easy for you. Read complicated codes then read easy codes so your brain gets used to read them faster easier and much efficient with higher Performance. So do not get frustrated, be proud, that you can solve at least one of 5 complicated excercises.
