Source for learning Java

Question

Hello!
Has anyone recommendations concerning websites for learning Java? Sololearn itself is a good app, but it only covers basics, which is good to start with, but not that efficient if one wants to gain deeper understanding of a language.

@Justin Hill That book's publication date is 2005. Are you sure that all the things to learn in there are actually up-to-date?

It is great and has taught me much more than the Internet has. if you can afford it and want to learn Java, it is great

I haven't ran into anything different, but there may be some areas with a slight syntax adjustment..
but it does a great job of explaining classes, objects, etc.. of the 4 Java books I have it is easily the most helpful..
do not get learning Java for dummies. terrible book
