Everyone has to begin somewhere, and everyone was a beginner initially, why feel bad about being a beginner? I think you should feel bad if you choose not to begin at all. Don't look at others code as an intimidation, rather, take them as a lesson, learn from their codes, see how they utilise things to solve problems, this way you gain something, rather than getting a sense of inferiority. Learning something new is never easy thing (as you said). Be grateful for this new era, we can learn things loads of times easier than it used to be. In the old days internet was not common, rather expensive and not so many people share what they know, books are not a solution either (for the price). Just don't give in to it, keep marching forward, keep practicing, and be communicative when facing a problem. Not much, but hope you get what I'm trying to say ; )

Why so negative? Just keep it up, go step by step and enjoy your progress. Be patient but persistent. If you learn with passion and discipline, you will be amazed what you are capable of.

Coding is a something which has no limits. It's all about putting all your creativity in a blank ide and creating something which you own. Being jealous of someone's code isn't a bad thing but letting that hurt you is . Make that jealousy your tool and try to code better and better Everytime. Everyone has a unique mind so let that uniqueness be shown to the world the your code. It's been one year I've been coding and the biggest thing I learned is that coding is something which can't be learnt like other subjects. The best way to learn to code is to keep coding, working of different projects of our own and repeating all of this everyday. Look towards coding as a tool to change the world, don't be a coder be a creator. That's all I can tell with my experience till now😅😊

Choose easy tasks you feel you can solve, and solve them. Over time your coder muscle will grow, and you will be able to tackle more complicated projects. If brilliant codes intimidate you, don't look at them - for now. Instead, look at code, that's just a bit better than yours, and learn from it. Look in your own life for opportunities to write little, functional programs, that do something for you or people close to you.

You can use the codes you see on here as a push to hustle. I look at what others do, and it drives me to get to that level

Think in this way: the most important resource in the coding world is the community! You and me, as beginners, have the chance to get information from people more expert than us, anytime, from anywhere around the world...and this is gold! Imagine studying the same thing back in the 80's or the 90's?? Don't feel estrange, feel part of it :)

As in fact I am not a professional, I guess I'll just pass on a general opinion. Start by deciding what you want to do; you wanna make mobile applications, desktop applications, websites. From this step on, you should research mildly on which path you should go to (choose your development language(s)). You can then start learning the chosen language, practice with it, and learn some more. Once you feel confident enough with what you have learned, it's time to make another choice in your journey. Do you want to work as an employee, or do you want to be an entrepreneur. Look for apprenticeship opportunities, or straight on vacancies for the employment way. For entrepreneurship, you need to be a good analyst, for opportunities - where your skills can be put to use. But to be an entrepreneur it takes loads more, because we do most, if not all, by ourselves. And try to build connections too (with people). At times, this helps in ways we can't foresee. And marketing skills of course : )
