Beginning in programming

Question

I currently have a few years of experience with HTML and CSS and enjoy working with web design. I have not dabbled much with languages like Python or C, but I am very interested in them. Should I stick with learning web, or explore my options? What will be more beneficial with my time? I would like to start working in this field soon.
