NodeJS VS. PHP!

Question

hey guys,
I have a question since I got introduced with node.js!
from what I knew, js was for frontend and php was for backend! but, after the node came, and from its capabilities, this question occured to me that: will learning node.js free us from the need of php?
I mean, if I learn Node (and angular), will I be still needing a backend language like php to complete my web application? or just using html, css and a bunch of js frameworks (node, etc.) will be suffice?

I personally used the MEAN stack and then still used a PHP script to do my RSS scrapping to insert into MongoDB, just since it was easy to write in PHP.
