python is for writing scripts(mostly), and for developing softwares too.

we may have different mind set on this but am here with my baby!!!

java is also used to program automobiles because many people know it while python is used for data handling,so both the programming languages have their own pros and cons

Both have pros and cons, depending on the task one can better than the other. learning both doesnt hurt though
