If you want learn programming language then you can choose C++ or Java. Because both are object oriented programming languages so it will help you in most of the works. Both c++ and java are also used in web development and many other things. I will not suggest you to learn python because python is very easy to learn and codes are very short in python because most of functions are predefine in python. So it will addict to you and in future you will not able to write long codes in any other Languages. Also Python is very slow language that means program written in Python takes more to execute than other languages. By learning c++ and java you will know abstract way of writting code. Here is a similar post, that you may found useful- https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/1506541/?ref=app

Programming languages are written to solve problems. No single programming language can solve all problems. The best programming language depends on what you're trying to do.

Furst c, then c++ Your language depends on what you want to do. If you want to develop games, you can learn languages like c#, and code in unity game engine. For web development, you can take html. But, I will suggest you to learn C - C++, as learning these languages will improve your knowledge about computer processing, memory management, and other fundamental computer theories. If you will master these languages, then it will be much easy for you to learn other programming languages, like c# - html - php - etc., which you can choose, according to what you are going to do. I suggest you to first learn c, and then c++, as it will much easier, better, and knowledgable for you. As a beginner, many people will suggest you languages like python and javascript, as these are easy to learn languages, whose codes are written, short. But, by learning these languages, you may not know about the computer processing, and many other things, as fuctions are predefined here. So, if you want to learn these languages, you can either learn while learning c - c++, or after learning these c languages. Well, I am learning c# while learning c++, to develop games in Gam engine, unity.

C# because it's the newest if you don't have to deal with legacy code.
