It depends on for what platform or OS you want to develop your application- For Android: java or kotlin For Windows: c#.net or vb.net For IOS: swift For Mac: Objective - C So on... For developing an application which could run on all desktop OS (Mac, Windows, Linux), Java or Python is used.
