Anyone have advice on choosing to do an online bootcamp or techdegree while also going to college online for web dev?

Currently in school for programming/web dev, considering also doing techdegree or online bootcamp.(if anyone has experience doing this would love to hear from you !:) )

Talk about it with your professors. There may be some information that overlaps and you would end up wasting money because you learned it twice.
Having said that, any experience you get on top of your degree will set you apart from your peers, which is a very good thing. Just make sure the knowledge you will be learning in the code schools or online bootcamps is everything you want AND need to do what you want with your career, because some of those things can be expensive.
