Question to Sololearn developers: why there are no private messages in iOS?

https://www.sololearn.com/post/142981/?ref=app And why aren't iOS users even notified of new messages?

Yusuf The iOS team could ask the Android team to write a notification function for iOS users at least by e-mail: “You have a new message. Reply to this letter and your interlocutor will read it.” In a pinch, make a notification to the sender: "You have sent a message to the iOS user. He cannot read it yet. Leave a comment under on the user code page or reply to his comment on the forum."

Still applies: https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/1741255/?ref=app Btw, if you want to direct your questions to SL devs, a more effective way would be through the in-app feedback feature, or through mail. [email protected]

Yusuf The activity of using email - should not worry the developer if he wants to make the product quality. If due to moderators of the AppStore it is impossible to release a version with private messages for iOS, then the iOS user should have at least some opportunity to receive notifications. If the user does not read mail, then this is already the problem of the user.

It seems like the team of IOS developer is slow. They could be using native development process which takes time.

It is actually a good idea, but the reason that they don't build these kind of notification system could be that e-mail doesn't actively used by everybody.
