GUI Programming - Which language?

What programming language do I learn to build a GUI? Python or JavaScript?

You can do it in both but javascript has the big advantage of running in a browser (HTML+CSS build nice GUIs really fast)

Sure, js-land has proton-native and electron and the sorts for building native apps.
Also Django templates don't really run in the browser.

I mean as I said you can do GUIs with either language, but js is more striaghtforward for sure.
