How can a 16 year old like me work to secure a successful future in coding?

I'm relatively young, but I think about my future a lot. Currently I'm learning Python in hopes of perhaps creating an app with my friend. I won't lie, at the moment him and I are just in it for the money 😂

If you are just in it for the money you wont be happy and probably wont get a got job. Therr are times where you will struggle to motivate yourself to proceed and you need more than money to proceed.

I believe at the age of 16 you can work on anything and make a future. I also believe you should not let money be a motivation in the first place or even at all. Work on stuff that you like and makes you jump out of bed in the morning. The rest will follow. (strive to be happy) 😉 If coding is and stays fun for you then make being the best the challenge in stead of the money. If making money is still priority than at least make it with something you enjoy!

Sean Thomas With practice you should be able to do it in a few years. If u are just learning by yourself. To make it in less time consider getting into a programming course at you school if they offer one. Best of luck man and happy learning (´・ω・`)

Study a tutorial and start to write your own programs (with whatever you know at that point) as early as possible. Make each task a bit more complex and add what you're learning. Do that for a few months, and then you'll probably have a reasonably good feeling if it could be something for you.
