Samuel T.P They have same precedence. The evaluation is left to right in most languages so whichever occur first, will be performed first. i*j/y -> multiplication performed first i/j*y -> divison performed first

What language? In most of programming languages, multiplication has the same precedence as division; so no, multiplication doesn't have a higher precedence than division

NO. They both have the same precedence in ANY context. So the one written first, will be executed first.
