Does anyone know some good sites to get free 2D game assets for HTML5 games?

I am looking for character sprites and backgrounds to practice HTML5 game development. If you know of some cool game engines for HTML5 games that work without dependencies that will also be much appreciated. l am currently exploring Blockjs. Thanks in advance 👍
