W3Schools for the web languages is not bad but I don't think the certificates are free and there is no community or challenges.

It lays a good coding foundation
You learn coding
You play games
It grades you
It gives you free certification
It has a free messaging service...
What else do you need?
Use Sololearn, grab a book and go to the college if you need the certificates!
