I'm bored and procrastinating so I was curious about all of your opinions on the godot game engine. It's free and opensource and looks like it could be a viable option for creating games. What do you guys think here at sololearn?

New AnswerThe best engine if you don't have a big budget (you can use it without restrictions). It's open source and multiplatform. You can use GDScript, C#, C++, or visual scripting for creating 2D or 3D games for Windows, Linux, Mac OS, Android, iOS... Cons: At the moment, you can't export games to game consoles (ps4, xbox, etc).
pourya matloub You don't need to know C++. Godot uses it's own language- GDscript. You can also use C# in Godot if you download the Mono version.
