Do websites still use JQuery and/or PHP?

I saw some posts the other day about people talking about how JQ and/or PHP are starting to get outdated. So I wanted to ask the following: Are PHP and JQ REALLY getting outdated? And if so; what is the alternative for these assets?

https://kinsta.com/blog/is-php-dead/ PHP is used by 78.9% of all websites with a known server-side programming language With jquery, it has lost most of its usefulness with the evolution of js and growing browser support for javascript. Here's a nice collection of its replacement. Nevertheless if you have to deal with older js code written by someone else in jquery, it certainly pays off to know the syntax. https://flaviocopes.com/jquery/
