You really dont need a super high power computer just for a programming unless you are doing gaming or video editing . You can get by with a pretty minimal setup ..8gb ram 512gb storage is enough.

I think it is preference, if you are someone that travels a lot, I would say laptop. However, if you have a big computer and don’t go out much (like me), I’d recommend a desktop.

Either one. I use both, and phone too. they are both good, but I think laptops are mobile and can be carried anywhere.
