Newbie question about learning C#

Hi I am 32 years old and have as of last week decided to learn to code. Its something I feel I could get really passionate about. I am super dedicated even learning form absolutely 0 knowledge at all. I am currently in the process of learning C# and have completed and fully understood (basic concepts) and (conditionals and loops) but all of a sudden I have hit a brick wall with the (methods) I am really struggling to relate to the material. Is this normal ? And does anyone have any advice to move forward?

As a 30+ with no prior experience - functions (or methods) are the usual roadblock. Try with simple functions, then make them gradually more complex, that's my way of dealing with it
